You will need to confirm with your LA but when my dd was of nursery age I claimed some of her funding as she didn't use it all at nursery.
But that was 5 plus years ago.

In Birmingham yes you can

In Devon you can as long as another child is being minded during the same hours.

Yes I did from jam-July. And because he had a statement I got additional amount to provide 1-1 for his education hours
