Its one of my mindees last day today. He's been with me for a yr , from when i first started and he was 6 mnths then. Well this morning when mum came to drop him off she came with a bottle of wine for me , a note book set for each of my 2 kids and a family ticket to the local zoo ! How lovely is that ! I'm so touched :D

That's really nice - being appreciated makes all the difference doesn't it?

Ahhh that's really nice. Just putting the finishing touches to a leaving book for my lo whose last day is tomorrow and emigrates on Sunday. Its very exciting for him but as a 2 year old also very confusing. He might start called his mum - mummy now because he called me Mummy and her by her first name. Luckily she thinks its hilarious.

I have one leaving tomorrow ... I've just finished her scrapbook. It's a bit thin because she only comes an hour a morning, 4 days a week, but I've done my best.

I've made her a little card and done some hand prints with her this morning.

Wonder if I'll get anything?? I could do with a bottle of wine about now

Enjoy the feeling and know you've made a difference to their lives Rach! :D

One of mine finishes tomorrow after 10 years came with a lovely keyring from next with a monkey on (to remind me of him) and a lovely bag. Had £15 in Odeon vouchers and lost of sweeties from another mum yesterday just cos it's the end of term it is also my birthday this weekend (might have mentioned that before) so have had lots of presents today but the mum who gave me the odeon vouchers doesn't even know it;s my birthday so I feel very good about that one.

I did get a nice bottle of wine off 1 mum/dad and a card saying thank you for all my hard work - lovely words.

I suppose it comes naturally to some but not to others.

Well done everyone :D

And what was really cute was when it came to home time...... The lo normally waves when he goes home but today when his mum said say bye to Rachel , he came up with his lips puckered to give me a kiss !! he never does that to me and he's only 18mnth , its like he knew today was his last day ! what a cutie :D
