I have my food premises inspection soon and I was wondering what to expect?

It depends on your council.
With mine a lady came out. We stood in my kitchen and asked me questions on my practise and to test my knowledge. She looked at my log in the Better Food Better Business for Childminders and had a quick peek in my fridge and that was it. Gave me a couple of minor actions, one of which was to get a temperature probe as I reheat batch cooked food. She was here 20min and graded me Good. They won't come out again unless there is a complaint or I'm a suspected source of food poisioning.
I'm under Reading Borough Council.
From other forum members I understand that some don't get visits at all where as others have quite rigourous inspections.
