Hi,
I am just starting out with my first mindee who is 12mths old. When I first registered in 2011 I didn't include upstairs. Now im thinking I will need a quiet room big enough for a travel cot for him to take his naps. Would I be able to do this just for naps as he would be safe in a cot, then bought downstairs when he wakes? If not how do I go about getting it changed? Thanks

Give Ofsted a ring. I suggest they will be happy with a risk assessment. They normally accept this even if you move property

I use a spare bedroom upstairs linked with a monitor and it's always been fine.

I agree with MTK. You need to contact OFSTED before you start to use the room to get it registered.
