I like Lucy Powell and have met her on a couple of occasions and recently at a conference
she is approachable and, as you know she debated the C&F Bill with Sharon Hodgson, is against agencies and was against higher ratio but she needs to engage on the two proposals for wraparound care in schools from 8-6pm and the 25 hours of 'free childcare'
I don't like the free childcare bit at all...we can't afford 15 hrs let alone 25
I understand the first will involve cms and the latter will result in a consultation with the sector
Lets hope we get to be heard
