Mental health in young children

I did a most wonderful training today with Young Minds to raise positive awareness of mental health which has become a very important issue for young children.

The training was thought provoking and the trainer so knowledgeable...I can't remember the last time I spent 7 hours so absorbed in a subject.
Many issues of mental health arise from attachments or lack of, brain development, family issues and risk factors can increase the pressure on young children.

No it was free via my LA and must say rather good too.

I have not looked at costs yet but in future cms may possibly have to buy their own training and get a group of providers together and split the cost...that is how independent cms will have to think in future

Many trainers travel all over the country to deliver sessions,,,Young Minds do too and others have very interesting topics and cover all sorts of areas of CPD and, I must say, a bit more challenging than some LAs put on.
