Hi there . I am very new to this. I have just registered and have my profile on childcare.uk.
Do you lovely people ever contact parents looking for childminders themselves and offer your services? I have noticed you can view parents profiles if you go to My Local Parents file.
Sorry no idea how to advertise ATM. Please help.:panic:

Yes I have gold membership which means I can initiate a conversation with a parent. Sometimes parents will have gold membership and may contact you but I find the best way is to get in first. The first message is always from the gold member and the other person can respond even if they have the free profile. Anyone can have a free profile so it's always worth making one and then go from there.

There are many ways to advertise but if you can get yourself known in the local community, by going to events and handing out cards, toddler groups etc then potential parents will get to know you

Yes absolutely like MTK says you can approach parents, put together a well written letter saying hello and selling your services.
