Hi everyone,
I made a first aid child carers on April and I have not received my certificate, yet!

I have called them and they have told me always the same things, is it normal?

There someone in here who lived the same problem?

It's ages since I did mine with there'd cross but we got ours on the last day of the course from the trainer, you haven't got a first aid certificate to show ofsted or potential parents etc no its not right.

Noooooo, at the end of the training the lady told us, the certificate will be send by post...
and I knew one nanny that didn't receive her certificate when she did with Red Cross.

For families I showed the Invoice that I made the first aid course and I did
another first aid with a specialist children centre last year and I could show this certificate
for OFSTED.

But I want my British Red Cross certificate because is most recent, I paid for
that, I can not understand why they don't send me...

Was the course you did at the children centre a 12 hour paediatric first aid if yes this certificate would be acceptable for Ofsted.

If not you need to chase the red cross one for your certificate because an invoice will not be good enough as this only shows that you paid for it not that you completed the course and you would get inadequate from Ofsted :(

Yes yes, that's fine for OFSTED I did 16 hours at the centre children! But my question was,
if there are someone in here who lived the same problem with RED CROSS, because this is not
fair, I went at the training during 2 days and I made it and I am awaiting for certificate!

A written of compliant would be my next stop if I was getting no where with phonecalls :thumbsup:

I have never done a course with the red cross so cant help on that :D

Thanks for very nice advice, I won't do First Aid with REDCROSS anymore, it is
finish.
I am calling them since early September, it is a nightmare for me, and I am very stressed!
