Well it's finally arrived, my last week of Childminding.
One Mindee has already left & started at Nursery so I've just got my before & after schooler, one mindee who is at primary school mornings so I've got her afternoons and another mindee who is having her settling in sessions at nursery every morning this week so I've just got her afternoons too.
Come 4.30pm Friday and I will be closing my books for good.

I'm meeting up with my new boss on Saturday for a handover meeting and then I start Monday!
I will miss the little ones and their families emensley but I am really looking forward to having my house and garden back, having two days off a week and to be able to concentrate on my own children.

I will miss you all very much too, especially Sarah & Angel.
Without this forum I would never have achieved Outstanding in my last inspection.
Everyone is very helpful and supportive, I've loved being a part of such a fantastic support group.

I wish every single one of you all the best for the future and I will keep popping in to say hello.
Thank you & God bless xxxx

Wow, sounds like an emotional and exciting week.

Enjoy the good bits, don't get too upset by the sad bits, and enjoy the new start to your life.

I wish you every success.

I'm going to work for a Dental Training & Development Academy.
They go into Dental practices and train staff in Cross Infection, Safeguarding Children & Vunerable Adults, Law & Ethics, Patient Care etc. They also mentor managers, get them ready for their CQC inspection (their version of Ofsted), provide virtual assistance & management etc.
I will be mainly working from home 3 days a week providing virtual assistance & management to practices that are to small to employ a Practice Manager, with the occasional visit to practice to provide training and organising seminars.

I get my home & garden back, plus i will be earning the same amount working 3 days for them as I was working 5 days CMing, so I get 2 days off a week too.

Can't wait

It's what I did before & while Childminding.
Since 1985 I've been a Dental Nurse, Theatre/Implant Nurse, Practice Manager and I've also been a Unit Manager & Nurse for an out if hours emergency unit which I did evenings on top of my day Job (for 20yrs). :D:thumbsup:
