Are you aware that ICAN offer a free callback service if you have concerns about a child's language development?

I think this will be very helpful if you have a concern, but aren't sure what to do. I know in our area it's really difficult to speak to someone when you just want a bit of help and advice.

Oh thank you for that, I have two here that are over 2 and not speaking much so that will be very helpful x

You'd have to be very careful to maintain confidentiality if you were acting without parents written permission... but it's a good service and like you say Desiderata there's precious little help around nowadays.
