I say I'm open 8am-6pm but have been known to work from 6.30am(AAAAAAGH!) or until 9.30 one night, but I charge an extra rate for unsocial hours- well I'm supposed to anyway!

My first mindee arrives at 740am ... then another at 8 ... then, 3 days a week, 2 more at 815.

I take 2 to school at 845, 1 to playgroup (2 days a week) and keep 1 or 2...

I pick up a different one from nursery at 1145 and the one from playgroup at 1130...

1 goes home at 3 (the nursery one) and I pick up the 740 one and another different one from school at 315.

1 walks from the high school most nights and comes for her tea.

My 2 arrive home from the high school.

They are all usually gone by 6 ... I don't know about vitamins Annie, I need alcohol most nights

Wait for it -
Mon Tues Wed 7.30 - 6 with a variety of school and play group drop offs and pick ups (including my own DD) I go to 3 schools and 3 playgroups.
Thurs 7.30 - 6.00 (but lovely mum doesn't leave until 6.30ish and I don't usually mind but if I have to go somewhere I do say must go no time to indulge you in chat about how wonderful your DS is today.)
Fri 7.30 -10.00 (but have been finishing @ 6 for past few weeks no evening child - not sure when he'll be back properly due to language difficulties.
Sat sometimes do 9.45-2.45 or some hours between these times - plus do 4.30-10.00 in the evening with little chinese boy but he's not been since before I went away in May as an Auntie staying with them and I'm soft on them and don't charge when he doesn't come due to unsociable hours and if I go out somewhere i take him with me and I also don't commit myself to doing every Fri & Sat - but do do more than I said I would due to DH's shifts and working abroad so tend to be in on my own so might as well be earning a few bob while doing it and he's lovely - must admit did have him last night at short notice. Didn't bother me as LO I have occasionally was due to come from 12-6 but Mums mum died on Fri so they cancelled again I wouldn't charge them for this - they can't help it and I knew the mum was ill and again I only have her when I have space andthey fit in with me a lot of the time. - so didn't mind having little fella as it almost made up for what I didn't earn during the day and he sleeps for a couple of hours so its quite easy.
Sundays: again I have little S only every now and again from between 3 hrs & 5 hours but charge her £4.00 ph

I haven't been asked to do a BH yet but I do charge double for that so would be £7.00 ph and no one has asked me yet - thats probably the reason.

I don't work them as a rule but do charge contracted children for them. Except maybe those on holiday only contracts although mum does claim tax credits so perhaps I should - I dunno.

I also do have a cleaner / volunteer student who comes in 2 hours per day Mon-Fri she does my Ironing and cleaning etc so keeps me on the straight and narrow plus she is a bit of company in the mornings plus I am acting as her mentor helping her through her NVQ L2 so it suits us both really. In her cleaning capacity she is self employed as a student she is a volunteer and lovely with children.

Wow!! I feel very very part time compared to everyone else:rolleyes:

Mon, Weds & Thurs - 3:15 - 5:15
Tues & Fri 8:30 - 5:15

I did work everyday until one child had to be removed for unresonable behaviour (his not mine)

I do however run toddler group one morning a week and I support 3 young Mum's who are struggling with everyday life.

I will have a full timer to add to these in September but I have negotiated with Mum to send him to playgroup and nursery 2 days a week so I will still have some time to myself.

Mon-Fri 7.30am starts and work till either 5pm, 7pm or 10pm

Sat and Sun start either 12pm-5pm or 2pm-7pm or 5pm-10pm

Sometimes I have an hour or two in between one set of mindees going home and the late one coming, so I can get a nap if I need it  ( old!)

im just trying to find out how many hours you do a day . i am working 7am -
to 5-20 but i only want to work untill 5pm this was what io told all parents at the start and they all go at 5 apart from 1 child he is contracted untill 4 .20 but on a few times mum has just said that dad will pick him up later
he only comes to me term time as muum is a teacher and hea only hear for 40 mins before school and 1 hour after so its not worth the hassle of him on my part staying later for a extra £ 3 when i have my own family to deal with
so im going to tell mum i am only working untill 5 pm . i think 10 hours aday of one 7 month and one 18 months and 1 3 year old plus my before and after schoolers and hols is enoutgh x by the way i mean mum picks him up every night now at 5 .20
