Hi

I finally downloaded the SEF, but I'm wondering if it's worth me completing at this moment as I only have school aged children. If I did fill it in, would you fill it in talking about the children that I currently have or the potential early years children that one day I may have?

Thanks
Jx

Whether you do the Ofsted SEF or not it's always worth thinking about how you improve and build your business and self evaluation helps you to do that.

If you think you might have younger children in the future you will be glad you spent time now doing it! :D

Thank you, I've printed it off and will ponder it then :)

I am in exactly the same position as you BUT I keep my SEF updated
It is not just for self evaluation but part of the cycle of reflection which is Leadership and Management ...apparently how Ofsted base their inspection outcomes now!!

With Ofsted giving conflicting messages the SEF is a tool for evidence of your practice...it is not compulsory but some inspectors want to see it
Best thing to do is spend a little time on it and do it!!

well worth I think!
