I have a little girl who only ever comes on a Wednesday. I charge £22.40. I wont have a place for her in January as new baby starting (mum knows about this)

She is quite a pleasant little girl but can be aggressive. We always go to toddler group on a wednesday and i cant take my eyes off her for a minute. Today she was pulling at younger children and scratched a baby. It is only recently that she stopped pulling hair of other children.

We came home and as i prepared lunch she bit a 3yr old. That child just left and 5minutes later she bit the other 3yr old. She is now having a nap and due to go home at 3ish.

Contract is due to be reviewed this week but i've decided not to have her any more. Mummy hasnt worked for a year and just sends her to socialise. I will offer 4 weeks notice or we can end contract today.

Hate this part of the job but has to be done. Going to have cup of tea while mindees are napping and put on my brave face lol

well, it all went a bit odd lol

I was on phone to social services about my house move when Mum came to door, then I realised it was time to go to bus stop to meet schoolie, so had to tell her really quickly.

She seemed ok. When i told her about biting she said it wasnt like her to do that.

anyway she owes me £26 which she says she will drop in tomorrow, so hopefully she will pay

Sadly from what you have said it doesn't sound out of character at all but you do wonder what is the underlying issue!

Think you have made the right decision for you and the other mindees in your care.

Well done.

oh dear, i may have been very brave but not very sensible.

Havent heard anything from mummy since Wednesday and havent had £26 she owed. Sent 2 texts and no reply.

Ah well will put it down to experience, should have got payment first, never mind.
