care to learn

Hi

having a visit on Friday and now just text to say would I accept the care to learn

never heard of this as a new childminder.

what do I need to do- do I give parent my bank details or does she need to give me a form to send off.

is it reliable and worth it???

any tips thanks in advance

I was paid by them a few years ago. My experience with them was awful but they might be better now.
It didnt help that the parent i had using them changed her course half way thru year. Which seemed to b a huge problem for care to learn. Ended up not being paid one month then got double the next.
Hope they are better now.

I had a mindee whose mum was doing a college course and I was paid by "care to learn" - it was about 4 years ago, but it was fine. I was lucky though that the parent did finish the course and attended regularly - maybe if their attendance is below 80% then funding is witheld - so make sure this parent understands that she is responsible for fees if she breaks the rules that "learn to care" make.
