Can anyone help clarify ratios for under 5's in particular for reception children doing half days.
I have 2 x 18mth olds all day plus Ds2 (4) who is due to start school but doing half days until end of September. I then have another new school starter (also 4) starting on a TTO contract next week but after school only.
I know they aren't counted as over 5 until they start school full time in 4 weeks so have booked DH (my assistant) to work with me from lunchtime pick-upon until home time for the next few weeks.
What I'm not clear about is whether new mindee will count in my under 5's numbers whilst at school in the morning even though I won't actually see him until I pick-up at lunchtime?
