Who has got one and what do they think of theirs. I need one. I hired one a couple of years ago never again I was knackered just doing the living room did hall stairs and landing and my bedroom. I would like a upright one but don't know which one to get. Before now I've had someone in to clean carpets

I have a vax quite good not an expensive one about 60 leaves carpet a bit wet but does the job
Before minding I had a bissell at the time cost 130 that was 10 years ago I was brill carpet not so wet.
I only have rug in lounge and carpet upstairs on landing and in my two boys rooms so the vax is fine for that. I use it twice a year on rug and then just put heating on and go out for 2 hours. I don't see point of paying loads of money

I have a Vax Rapide Ultra carpet cleaner- very easy to use, cleans stains, black marks really well, sucks up water well leaving carpet just a little damp. Easy to set up and empty tank, quite light, good attachments for stairs. I love it.
