Regarding tax credits and pensions

Just seen on the news if you are a grandparent under retirement age and you care for grandkids aged under 12 while your children work you can claim credits towards your national insurance.google grandparents plus

I look after my grandchildren every holiday so do I qualify, or as I'm a childminder does that negate it? Anyone? Please?
