First proper Inspection!

I have my first inspection a week today! Registered october 2012

Lady called seems lovely, can you tell me exactly what they expect to see. And what do you do with the children, free play or a craft activity while inspector is here? Usually we go to a toddler group but will have to miss it for inspector x

I think im organised but would like reassurance lol xx

Get yourself a box, put in it the children's learning journals, diaries or what ever you do to show their learning and development. Add child records, accident reports complaints log. Policies, risk assessments, certificates from training, plus any other paper work.

Put it on the the table or next to the sofa and tell the inspector you have put it all together for her.

Check her identity show her where the kettle and toilet is and leave her to it and carry on as normal, have child led and an adult led activity available to do,she will ask about what you thought the children would learn from the activities On Offer and what the children are actually learning.

Try and relax and carry on as normal the chikdren will pick up on any changes and act up
