Hi!
I have had so many buggies over the years that I've lost track of them all, but my long term fave has been my Maclaren Techno which has been in almost daily use for the last 7 years.

However, some of my school age mindees think it really funny to try and sit in it ( whilst its my 2 year old is not in it! lol) and now the frame is making a terrible noise when its is pushed and looks like it is starting to try and fold up when my DS sits in it. I need to get a new buggy preferably before Monday's school run and tought I'd ask the experts on here for advice.

I've got about £100 max to spend, need a good quality one that'll last, need a lie back seat as my DS has his afternoon sleep in it whilst we are running around doing school playgroup drop offs/pick ups etc. I don't drive so it will get lots of use, but still needs to fold up small enough to fit in the back of a Zafira when all 7 seats are in use ( very small space).

Was looking at a Quinny Zapp, Grace Mosaic, or Mamas & Papas Beat, what do you think? Anyone got any horror stories about any of these before I part with my very hard earned cash,

Thanks, Karen x

I have a quinny zapp and it's great.............however it doesn't lie back and you can't hang anything off the handles as the slightest weight tips it over.

My sister's got a Petite Star Zia. http://www.mothercare.com/gp/product/B000W9KI0G/sr=1-1/qid=1215799827/ref=sr_1_1/202-0430232-6939824?ie=UTF8&mcb=core
It lies back flat, which the zapp doesn't do and has a little basket.
Not sure how small it folds re the zafira, (I have one so know what you mean!!!), but my sister can get it in the boot of a smart car!!!!

I love buggy shopping.

Sorry, just realized it is more than £100!!!
Sorry.

Hi

I've just bought a Koochi from Argos. Bought cause cannot fit my usual buggy in with all 7 seats up in discovery. It was reduced from £99.99 to £37.99. It is bright red, umbrella folds, comes with changing bag, rain cover, footmuff. I have not used it yet (well wheeled round the kitchen a little) but seems a great buy and folds up neatly to fit in the car.

Shelley you lucky thing. I was trying to get one of these from Argos but they are out of stock everywhere in Nottingham.

I thought that this was one of those too good to be true offers that I have seen in their sale before. I hope that it is ok for you.

I have a Chicco CT 04 ( amoungst many others  ) and its a great value buggy.

othercare have the CT 06 for £49.99. The wheels are smaller than my wheels and it only reclines 2 positions.

But for £69.99 they have this Chicco one

I like my graco mosiac, the only thing I have found is:

the wheels often skid as opposed to turn when you are cornering. This can make it a bit of a pickle if you are steering with one hand :D

Apart from this I like it, roomy basket underneath, comfy seat, reclines however far you want, a little or a lot.Rain cover is pricey and not worth the £30 they charge. Not sure whehter you would get a universal one to fit.

Have fun xxx

Mothercare Jive and Backspin are excellent value, lightweight, recline ( not fully flat) and good shopping basket ( plus handles to hang shopping! a must if you don't drive)

hi,

I had a graco mosaic, i hated it, once my daughter was 4-5 months and wanted to sit up more i found the back too flimsy and the wheel problem flora mentioned drove me mad. I replaced mine with a bruin presto which i got from an ebay shop for £49.99 which i love.
