I am sat here really confused! My mindee who is 4 does the oddest thing when going to the toilet (properly)
He puts the seat down but sits on it, crouched down with his feet on the sit. Almost like squatting! He looks like a frog on the toilet!! :laughing:
I have no idea why he does this, it just makes me laugh so much!

Some middle east countries use a tiled squat hole, could it be his background?xx

My DH's work colleague has recently moved here from Pakistan and he does this....they questioned him about the footprints on the seat!
Could be a cultural thing?
more of a natural position, also can be cultural

Not cultural, he is white British.
I know the angle at which he is sitting means a more natural curve to the spine, meaning easier passage... But still, it makes me giggle.

I used to nanny for a boy who did that! His older brother used to really laugh at him lol but he didnt care. Hes 15 now so ive no ieea if he still does it!

Never seen it but have read its a better way to go, but watch him as he gets bigger could cost a fortune in loo seats lol

He may have had toilet trouble in the past and he was shown that to get it out? Sure it's just a phase.
