Write to Ofsted about agencies!

I was thinking yesterday - it's all well and good writing to Dept for Education (which I hope you are all doing!!) about agencies and leaving childminders alone to get on with our jobs in peace -

BUT.... Ofsted are the driving force behind all the changes that are happening to childminders as well!

It was Sir Michael Wilshaw who first said that childminders are too expensive and raised the suggestion we were all herded into agencies.

So... alongside my letter to the Dept for Education, I have written this letter for Ofsted which I hope you will ALL use to send to share our strength of feeling.

Good point Sarah - complain to the source may be a better idea. Have forwarded on the link and that of @ Home childcare with the Agency costs to all members on our town's independent network.
