Just been looking at the ikea one, antilop, it folds into the wall. Usually just use my lap but wondering if anyone uses this and finds it useful! ?

I did look into getting one once as I change nappies on the floor and when I had all mindees in nappies it used to kill my back bending all the time.

I decided against it though as I didn't think it would Any good for toddlers, only babies, as it isn't very long.

I use one, it's great, bought it from Ebay 2nd hand for about £80, and is a good length and has a strap on it for wrigglers!

I have attached a photo from my FB page I took back in January...x

I have a wall mounted changing mat from Ikea it folds onto the wall above the toilet and has lots of pockets to store all the different nappies and creams. It saves me lots of back ache.

Does this fold into the wall even with nappies etc in it? Also is it big enough for toddlers? Does it hurt your back more lifting them up and down do you think or changing on floor?

Yes it is the Ikea changing table, my husband put extra brackets to hold it on the wall just to be on the safe side. I can easily change a 2yr old on it and it is easier on my back and knees as once I'm on the floor I struggle to get back up.

Well that's clever use of space over the loo! Thanks for that!

Ooh, what a fab idea!

Do you all change nappies in the bathroom?? What about the other little ones, where are they when you change nappies?

Can you tell I've not started yet??? Lol

I have my changing mat in the toilet downstairs so the children are not far away and I can hear everything that is going on.

Thanks for your reply. My playroom is upstairs, pretty much next door to bathroom so I'll just do them in there and use downstairs toilet if we're downstairs.

I just wasn't sure about leaving them but know they have to be changed in private.
