Hi all

After ideas. Was told last week that a 7 year old mindee half sister had been diagnosed with cancer and were waiting to find out if it had spread. Well he has arrived today and mom has told me sisters heart gave out yesterday and she passed away yesterday she was only 20 years old. He is not going to funeral and is all over the place and is hyper not just down to ADHD but that he feels he is not getting much attention. Is there a book that tries to explain what is going on.

There is a great book called is daddy coming back in a minute by Elke and Alex Barber. It is on Amazon it is a brilliant book and has been endorsed by Winston's wish and also been featured on a programme with Michael Rosen.

So very sad, I have a few books but by far the best one for young children is the animal based story called Always And Forever- sad, but clearly touches on all the emotions felt and ends on a positive note that in time the pain eases and you begin to remember all the lovely shared times spent with the loved one and find that their memory suddenly begins to make you smile and laugh and your tears become fewer, hth xxxx
