Husband becoming a Childminder

Hi,

My husband has been thinking of joining me as a Childminder. I have given him the details for the courses etc but was just wondering if there are any husband and wife childminders out there and how they find it. Do you do it as two separate or just work together?

Any other info would be appreciated.

I work as a CM with my wife as assistant. She helps out a little when she gets back from her other job (they pay her - the fools! :laughing: )

There's a husband & wife team near me who are both CMs. They work together but do school runs to different schools. Their home was previously used for another business, so already had planning permission for business use. Otherwise they say they might've thought twice about increasing their numbers and having to get planning permission.
