Hello,
Just a quick one, one of mindee was walking home on school run today being 3 yrs. started talking about their shadows n the sun. Been picking my brain how could I do next steps for this...I started talking about " who's shadow is bigger, mine or yours"

Drawing around shadows in the garden with chalk - see how they change over time? Play 'where's my shadow?' when it's cloudy (might have to save this one for a while!):)

Asking them how they can change their shadows, what shapes can they make and what do they look like.

What about talking to them about experimenting to find out when they disappear

One thing my DD2 thinks is great fun is trying to jump on my shadow or her own - the latter is particularly funny and we keep talking about why she is never going to be able to do it.
