Just contacted my DO about this she said that the requirements are having a good grade from ofsted and being a part of a childminder network

Ive got a interview early August to see if I can join a network

My question is what exactly is a childminder network??

What are they going to ask??

Bit nervous now

I accept funding. Each county has their own criteria for accessing it. In Devon we have to have a good or outstanding Ofsted grade and commit to accepting a dev worker visit and children's centre teacher visit each year and attending 4 days of training per year.

Your best bet is to either contact your DO again and ask her exactly what 'being part of a cm network' means in your area or googling cm network and your county to see what you can find.

In Devon they are keen to ensure that your learning and development parts of the eyfs are up to scratch eg your planning, observations and assessments. They want you to attend curriculum training. It wasn't a scary process here - they support you in curriculum issues and help you with your obs and assessments.
