Visitors Book

My sad little visitors book has thus far been used to record when my kids' friends come round and, once, when the yellow moon lady dropped some bits round, which took all of five minutes but I put it in there anyway! Sad, isn't it?!

Anyway, on Thursday i have a mum and her little boy coming to see me hopefully they'll be starting in September. I know a lot of you have a blurb in the front of your visitors book - what would you say in that? Is it essential (or, at the very least, desirable?)

Also, I just write who came, when and why - is that all I need?

you do not have to have one but it is a good idea is what we were told

name
reason for visit
time in
time out
and signiture

no thats all you need very simple
if tis someone fron a company :ie gas man i get them to put on id number
but thats it!

I just have a printed sheet of paper for visitors to sign. So far the Ofsted inspector is the only 1 who has signed it though. No one else pops round. :( lol
