This week we went on a nature walk and the children collected lots pretty flowers and leaves. When we got home I put them in laminating pouches and laminated them so they stayed nice and fresh. I think they look quite good!

Fussy Elmo, they laminated, but did need bit of help once or twice! I just pulled them gently and they cam through. I think they would have been better if I had been more patient and flattened them a bit first though. Maybe under a heavy book?
Pleased with the result though and would do again.

We did this a few years ago using the small credit card size puches and made them into windows on mothers day cards.
Went down very well with mummies

That looks lovely.

I've done this before with autumn leaves but never with summer flowers. I think the children would love it though.

Thanks for sharing

Maybe you could put them in a flower press first to make it easier to get through the laminator? Hx

Hi,

Thanks they do look nice don't they:). The pictures were taken home so I didn't know if they had kept well and then one little girl brought hers back today to show me and it still looks great. The colours still look good but may have faded a little.
I also collected a selection of leaves from the trees around us in the Autumn last year. I got them before they had started to turn and laminated them and put sticky labels on the back with the names of the trees that they came from and they still look perfect. They look good hanging on different lengths of string on the window / patio doors.

We did this a year ago with leaves theyve lasted brilliantly and they still look great, will definetly have to do one with flowers, will be great if they keep their colour, can't see why not our leaves have.
