When I first became registered I was told by ofsted that because of the very small opening of my spare bedroom window I would not be able to provide overnight care. I am in the process of changing a couple of windows in my house this being one of them. Because it now is a bigger opening window with child locks it would now be ok to be used for overnight care. Could I put through the cost of this particular window through my books

Such a specific enquiry you should call HMRC direct to ask. You may need to calculate % of time the room is used for CM?
