Car seat safety - this may be useful

I have just seen this product advertised on FB, and through it was a great idea for those children who are in a group 2 child seat, and heavy enough to no longer have the 5 point harness, and be using the adult belt.

It may be useful to keep children safe in the car - especially for those of us who drive with children in the car and no other adult.

I have a mindee who falls asleep within minutes of being in car, this looks great idea.

You need to be very careful using anything to modify a car seat because it may make it unsafe and it could invalidate your car insurance if you have an accident. I would say if you have a problem with a child you need to carry on using a 5 point harness and use a seat like the Britax 123 Evolva Range which goes from 9 months to 12 years.
