I don't think she has 60 people interested in agencies. .. or rather 60 people interested in setting up agencies and is hoping if she keeps on saying it that it will be true!

What's her game then?
The Task and Finish group met 3 times in total plus one subcommittee meeting...is this enough to 'develop' an agency model? and this is now going to be sold to 60 applicants?

All this planning behind our backs !!!

Reading between the lines, 60 people/organisations have expressed interest during the previous year, and they are now getting wrote to, asking them to put forward a tender to trial agencies. It doesnt mean though that those 60 parties are still interested. If there is no funding available that will certaintely have made some pull out, and also from feedback from some of these task groups there seems to been a bit of negativity into how they work. So some of these interested parties may well have changed their minds or realised that they are not really feasible. All we can do now is wait and see who actually gets up and ready for september. It is such a tight deadline, and such a short trial period of a few months how much accurate data will they even get.

Something is going on as they are hell bent on pushing through agencies, i just wish we had all the information behind the decision

I'll take a wild guess ...it will save Ofsted millions and get cms off Wilshaw's books!!!
