Hoorah! Got the start-up grant!

:) Just got the letter to say i've been awarded with a start-up grant and all i have to do is get a letter from a prospective parent.
How do i go about this? What would they have to say? And does it mean they HAVE to use me?
It's just that i've not even started registering yet as i'm still on the ICP course and have not really mentioned it to anyone.
Could i just get a friend to write a letter and say they they MIGHT use me once i'm registered?

I don't see why not ... a friend would, after all, know you well enough to judge whether you will make a good childminder... :D
