I am currently in my 2nd year of a Teaching and Learning Foundation Degree with Worcester University, I am also a childminder and undertaking a research project which explores the factors that influence risky play in relation to children’s safety and promoting challenging opportunities for their learning and development with in the Early Years Foundation Stage. Done! It's only one page and it didn't take long and was actually quite interesting because it made me think about what risky play I offer / don't offer and why :D

A very similar topic to my own Action Research project:thumbsup:. I have completed too and I hope it doesn't matter that I am in Wales and not England.

I have done the survery, very interesting. We spend lots of time outdoors in woods, fields etc, cooking outside, great fun :)

Done, made me realize that I offer quite a lot of risky play that I wouldnt have personally thought of as being risky,if that makes sense !!

Thanks filled in I also Relised I provide a lot of risky play
I see no harm in climbing trees or using a hammer or going Into the woods :)

I've done it, we enjoy exploring tools and using hammers here, for year old who is particular interested in construction

Just completed it. Always knew I was risk averse - this survey confirmed it. Going on a forest school course in September, so hoping that will help.

Done. We enjoy tree climbing, den building etc. I plan to fit in some cooking outdoors too now. Thanks.

Done, we like den building and exploring the natural envirionment, it has got me thinking about what we could cook outside though!
