Just had a letter from Marie Curie who will send each child in your setting a daffodil to grow, teaching resources and fun raising ideas

An activity that will last from Autumn through to Spring!

We've done this for the last 3 or 4 years. It's a lovely activity. We do the planting here & the children decorate the wrapper to go round their pots. They take their planted bulbs home & I ask parents to send me a photo when they've flowered. Parents pay £1 each for it.

I keep a couple of pots here as well and we watch them grow.

I only raise about £20 for doing it, but I figure it all helps :thumbsup:

I got this too and am planning to do it.dont know how ime gonna raise money yet but even if I have to stick the money in myself I don't mind as its for a good cause.
