hi all, i just needed to share my news that i finally had my pre reg visit yesterday and after a 3 hour grilling she was more than pleased and has said i should have my certificate within a week!! :clapping: cant say how pleased i am as ive had a sleepless week waiting for the visit and it really isnt as bad as i was expecting :D i just wanted to say a big thanks to all on this forum, your advice and knowledge is second to none :clapping:

Now just the task of advertising and hoping i shall have some lovely little mindees soon :thumbsup:

she firstly wanted a mooch around the house discussing any risks i may have noticed, there were a couple i had written down but sorted before the visit, she did ask to see this so have your risk assessment sheet to hand, then it was mainly safeguarding and welfare, then onto the prime and specific areas etc, it was more chatting with topics 'dropped' into the converstion and it just kind of rolls off the tongue! I showed her all my record books and portfolio i had put together and she was very impressed, i think if you show you have made an effort and have a good understanding then they are happy. All i can say is really do read your eyfs frame work book and development matters info, she also asked about the 2 year progress check.

She also wanted to see identification and the safeguarding, peadiatric and local authority pass certificates.
