Hi, just wondering if someone could tell us what the numbers relate to on Potential areas of learning we found on your site, they look really useful, but need to know what numbers mean. I saw that Sarah Neville had rewrote it,

I don't know which document you are referring to specifically - but I have given the areas of learning shortened versions to make it easier for my observations and planning.

For example, I look at the 3 aspects of PSED and call them PSED 1, PSED 2 and PSED 3 - rather than writing out the long names.

Is that what you mean? :D

Thanks Sarah, been using the potential areas of learning for some time with our planning, thought the numbers related to each individual aspect like in development matters tracker, the ****** just dropped with what you said now about the main aspects in each group. ex. CL Listening and attention 1 Understanding 2 Speaking 3. Was doing obs all day today and thought I was going to have to redo them all from last sept.:jump for joy:
