She said she'd get back to me as soon as she'd spoken to her DH. At the meeting she did ask if I'd had any other interest.
She has already emailed me back to thank me and to ask for confirmation of the holiday dates I already have booked.
What do we think? A yes or no?

Yes that's true.
She was very nice. It was one of the quickest meetings I've ever had, about 20 mins, but we chatted non stop and everything flowed lovely. I was quite nervous because I really want this one. :)

Plenty more fish in the sea. Don't forget, every child you get will probably mean another childminder is disappointed. You just hope these things even themselves out.

I'm really disappointed. I want to give notice to after schoolers and this would have helped.
I thought it had gone well but should have trusted my instincts. :(

Hey at least she told you! It is so hard because you get your hopes up. There will be other children wanting yo go to you. I have had so many who don't bother to tell me anything.

I had an interview on Wednesday. Hours are perfect etc, interview seemed fine (although I felt more nervous than usual) but for some reason I have a sinking feeling about it... :rolleyes:
I'm sure the right parent and child will be along soon for both of us xx
