Just found out my local GP surgery charges £110 for the health declaration! I can't believe they can warrent that much.

I also know it will have to be sent off for further reviews anyway as I am on anti-depressants after post-natal depression, so what are they doing that is worth that much!

Can't you claim it back from somewhere? My one cost £70 and i got the money back from the council. I just had to get a receipt. £110 is really expensive! :-(

I paid £17.50. That seems absolutely extortionate. You can claim it on your expenses but that's probably not much consolation.

I didn't pay anything for mine. My doctors surgery made a c*** up and my original one went 'missing' so I had to fill in a new one!

Mine was £80 so know the feeling, it's totally up to the individual doctors which I think is very wrong

Thankfully only paid £25 for mine, although I know some one else who paid £80 and she lives in the same area just with a different doctor.....
