contract for working with other childminder

hi, I am hopefully going to work with another childminder in Sept, she is just going on the course. Has anyone done this with contracts and how did you set things up finnancially?

hi.

i haven't done this, but i would think you need to discuss whose home you are working out of, how you will split bills etc ( as whoevers house it is will be needing pay utilities ), how you assign children - will they be one minders or the others, or will they 'belong' to both of you. how paperwork will be sorted, putting money aside for resources, equipment etc.

i know there are minders on here who work together, but i think the majority are partners/husband/wive teams etc.

some minders work on their own, but spend most of each day with another minder and would say that they 'co-mind' .
