Ofsted references help?

I've submitted my online application and it said to email the references by pressing a button to send a link.

However the two people I have used have both contacted me saying that the link doesn't work, one said you had to sign in or something? I've told them to email Ofsted and I have too but is there any quick answer as to how this works as obviously I cant see the page they are seeing?

i think they have to get a govement gate way then sign in to do any thing of ofsted my partner had to set up a gate way to do some bits on there hope this helps x
