Average Payment Contract

Hiya,

I have a family of school children who want a new contract writing up. Three children who have varying hours each week, agreed an a four week rota, but mum now wants to average out her payments for tax credits purposes.

Just wondering how best to deal with this......how do I write average hours for term time and holidays?

If you were happy to do this just add up all the payments for the year and divide it by 12, this is how much she will pay each month. However you will have to be careful, if she leaves partway through the year you will have to work out her actual balance.

I've had to do this for a parent for tax credits - I don't charge the average amount though! I charge what it costs and the amount she gets from TC averages out over the year :D
