Pre reg Ofsted visit next week!

Hi Ladies

I'm new so Hello! I've just had my 1st of 3 ICP Saturday courses last Saturday and the call from Ofsted today to say their coming next Thursday. I'm now beginning to panic so far I've done;

Accident & Incident policy
Fire safety
evacuation policy
Complaints procedure

I'll aim to do:

risk assessment
example of typical day
menu planner
ensuring all cuboards have safety locks
bedroom has hook and eye lock
3rd bedroom has travel cot
sort out what toy/books/activities i do have into labelled age appropriate boxes.

Is there anything else I can do??

It sounds like you are all under control!

Ofsted are not coming to judge you, just to check you out and give you pointers for the future...

You will be given advice and support so dont panic that is what pre reg is all about

Have a look around the forum in this section you will find lots of information

its not scary at all honest!!

I think it really helped me having all my policies done as when she was asking questions I could refer to them. I told her what I had planned for the garden and I was so relaxed with her I forgot what questions I wanted to ask! so I will give her a call in a few weeks and ask.
