Hi a couple have pm me to ask for my banana cake recipe
thought i would share
very easy to make and very yummy
Hope i have put in the right place :)

Banana tea bread

8oz s/r flour
¼ tsp bicarb of soda
Pinch of salt
3oz butter
6oz caster sugar
2 med eggs beaten
1ib bananas, weighed with skins , peel and mash (you can use really ripe bananas)
4oz walnuts chopped
…………………………………………†¦â€¦â€¦
1 Heat oven to 180’ c
2 Grease + line loaf tin
3 Mix flour, bicarb + salt together
4 cream butter + sugar until fluffy, add eggs alternately with flour
5 stir in remaining flour, bananas + walnuts + put in prepared tin
6 bake for about 1 1/4 hours
Leave to cool in tin I always wrap mine in grease proof paper as it keeps it moist

Hope you enjoy :D

Oh how funny! I've got a loaf of banana bread in the oven right now! It's virtually the same recipe except I add cinnamon, nutmeg, ground cloves and ginger. No walnut this time as a loaf is for DD's teachers tomorrow and I'm not sure if there are any allergies.

House is smelling yummy!
