I am ready to do my risk assessment after some help and useful docs from Sarah.
I am now wondering though if I should change things in the house that are already in my mind as either causing a problem or being impractical for childminding (re-arranging stuff, removing of potential hazards that are very obvious) and THEN do the risk assessment or should I just go through the house as is at the moment (inluding washing basekts that need ironing and putting away and general clutter or untidyness) and document everything in the risk assessment.
what would you recommend??
would it look bad if there are a lot of items in the risk assessment even if I then go and correct them?

thanks for your help

Glad they're being a help!

I would tidy up first - less writing!
