I am looking to get a shed with double doors to use outside as a playroom to be able to go outside more often. I want to use it for messy play, reading, etc but not major toy storage. Does anyone do this and what size? I have 4 under 5 and that's it at the mo. thanks x

In my other house we used the garage as an outdoor play area it was fab, I'd say you'd need something gazebo or car port sized to set up different things to do

Oh, reminds me of when I was little - 1 of 5 children in the 60's, we used the shed to play in - Mum & Dad had made it into a little classroom, we used to play schools...

I can't remember the size but it wasn't massive, probably 6 x 8'

Oh this is a fantastic idea. I think I know what I might be buying next.

Sounds like a great plan.

We had one at nursery, we changed it according to the seasons. In Autumn it had bales of hay in, toy animals and pumpkins. The kids loved it, we even covered the window with a curtain to make it dark and put lights in the pumpkins. It was fab!

LOVE that idea!!! Was thinking of draping fabric in it and doing a 'sky' and painting the outside but love that idea .
