Hi don't want to start any shouting but just wanted to find out what your opinion is on numbers. I am about to go on maternity leave end of this week but told parents to book up from end of July as I'll have limited spaces available.

So happy this week as I have had plenty of interest but now think im to full.
My children are ds 5 (6 in march)
Dd 4 (5 in march)
New baby due may 11
I currently have brothers who are 7 (8 in November) and 5 (6 in November) they are going to another chilminder while i have baby. But she's quitting in August so they would be coming back.
I have a parent who I have said yes to as the brothers were switching school but didn't get in. The other children are girl 8 and boy 4 starting full time September. And I have said yes to a girl 3.
So my question is can I take them all on as 4 children are after school.
So to recap its
new baby due in may
Girl 3 4 in march
My dd 4 5 in march starts school sep13
Boy 4 starts school sep 13 family b
My ds 5 6 in march
Boy 5 6 in November family à
Boy 7 8 in November family à
Girl 8 family b.

I believe this is ok as its 6 children under 8 still just as by November id have 2 over 8
4 under 8 in full time school as my dd is not 5 till March

God im confused

If you want yo start all these children in july 2013 then no you are over your 6 under 8's if its for everyday.

I would have family à boys on different shift pattern some weeks Monday and Friday other weeks every day but Thursday.
And family b would be every day school days as mum is returning to uni.
And girl 3 is 3 to 5 days as mum at college too. So I guess some days I would have all off them. Won't know college and uni day's till September tho

Lol ir would be from September but as I see it im still under 6 children under 8 but only as one child goes into next school and is classed as over 8. Andy own dd is not 5 till six months into the new school year

Are you having all these children from the end of July? Is so I get it as you are over by one child.

Eys1-new baby
Eys2-girl age 3
Eyfs3-ddage 4
5-8-ds aged 5
5-8 a brohter 2 aged 5
5-8 - brother 1 aged 7
Over 8 - girl aged 8

Plus a boy aged 4

Now if it was in September after dd aged four or boy age four has started full time school you will still be over by one as you would have 7 under age 8.

I think you cannot take all these children on until brother is 8 in November.

I take it the 7 year old is starting junior school, he will not be Counted as over 8 until his birthday, it does not work like the rising five clause for four year olds in full time school.

Yes he would be starting junior school. If it doesn't work like the rising fives. Its madness think I'll check with ofsted.

The 7 year old will stay in your numbers until his 8th birthday there is no clause like rising 5s (there is a clause for rising 5s because they would block a full time early years space which is not viable). Like the others said you will be over numbers by 1 child until then.
