So finally getting a playroom this is mainly for minding but my 2 will also use it and we are having dining area in it. As its a blank canvas I'm looking for ideas of things people have and couldn't manage without and also anything you would have if you could.

We are going for wood floor and underfloor heating, we are having doors straight out on to patio and we are having a bathroom directly off playroom. I have an ikea expedit storage unit already and little ikea table and chairs. We are after a bigger table adults can sit at. A sofa bed and perhaps some other storage. Also notice display boards.

Anyone any ideas anything else or anything not to have?

i have a slingbook case ... Sling Bookcase with Rainbow Star Canvas - Bookcases & Bookshelves - Storage - gltc.co.uk (http://www.gltc.co.uk/sling%20bookcase%20with%20rainbow%20star%20canvas/fullprice/gltc/fcp-product/10002212)

children can see books and easily choose them, but it doesn't take up loads of space. ( i also have a huge bookcase full in sitting room and swap them around )

the children love the car mat i have, and i would love a big colourful rug like this one Multi-Cultural World Rug (http://www.edusentials.co.uk/furniture/mats-carpets/multi-cultural-world-rug/prod_726.html)

i also have a sand table ( and lid ) that i use as a table, but is also used as a sensory play table, or for sorting/counting activities etc Buy Chad Valley Sand and Water Table and Accessories at Argos.co.uk - Your Online Shop for Sandpits and play tables. (http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/3650653.htm)

have fun :D
