Ideas for decorating my fence needed please!!

I had a load of cd's and dangly things attached to my fence but they have made so much noise banging together in the wind I've had to take them down! I was thinking of fixing some kind of flags or something instead but dont want them to be noisy. Any ideas? I think it makes the outdoor area look pretty lol and did read on someones Ofsted report that they were marked down for not having anything in the garden that showed the effect of wind!

I peg out my CDs, wind socks, kites etc on e washing line so no noise of them bashing together. We have sings and notices stapled to the fence.

I know what you mean, we had plastic bunting up but it has been so noisy the last few days while it has been really windy dh complained it was keeping him awake at night so I have taken it down for now :(. I love wind chimes but unfortunately they are noisy too! I am going to put some windmills in my big pots

Old wellingtons boots for planting and fixed with cable ties to fence.
I got some wooden numbers and planted them and stuck them on the fence with No Nails.
