Hi I am thinking about becoming a child minder but I would like to have another within a year or so and I am also diabetic. Will. This hold me back

Neither one should hold you back at all. As long as you have the diabetes under control there will be no problems there.
With an additional little one of your own it just means one less little one of someone elses for you to look after. HTH
