Building Regs?

Hi. I have an outhouse that runs up the side of my house, it is attached to the kitchen and the garden. I plan to have this area insulated, toilet etc fitted and set it up as a play room to do child minding. It will be lovely once finished.
My question is if anyone knows if I need any thing from building regs to prove the works that have been carried out. My partner and friend will be doing most of the construction part but we will have an electrician and plumber come in too.
When ofsted come to do the checks is this something they will be looking at?

Im not sure if you need building regs but we had an extension built last summer and ofsted havent been interested in any official documentation from building regulations.

They where more interested in risk assessments etc hth

Think you just need to inform ofsted for the required smoke alarms and do a risk assess they prob won't come out x
